The second block came for the
2009 Designer Mystery Block of the Month from
Fat Quarter Shop. Again, another stunning block!

I'm having fun using my stash to make a second set of blocks. It doesn't seem to take any extra time to cut and sew another block...and it's going to be great to have two quilts finished next May!

I've been stitching away, too...only four blocks left to stitch (although they might just be the ones that will take the most time)! I really want to finish this quilt soon--not only because it's my challenge project for the
Charming Girls' Quilt Club for July but also because I have about five other projects I'm ready to start! Hope you have a wonderful day...and that you get to sew today!

Hi
Love your quilts..they're gorgeous. Could you please tell me the name and where I could get the pattern for the quilt that is over on the side of your blog- it has stars blocks , then courthouse (or log cabin ) blocks??
Pleeeassse..

Five more projects? :) I'm going to be so sad if you ever slow down -- I just love seeing your work. I can't wait to see the finished block-of-the month quilts side by side.
What a great idea to make two blocks at once! They both look really nice. I will do the same when I start a new BOM next time :)
OH Goodie...my Designer Block will be there when I get home. I love your block from your stash. Oh your project for Charming Girls is so wonderful...I am just nuts about it!
Again, am absolutely loving the Your Home or Mine quilt... :o)
Both blocks look great, how differnt they are by basically changing one colour....and you know I already just love the other quilt...
V.here... Thanks for the idea of making 2 blocks at the same time and getting 2 quilts next year! (I like the 2nd patriotic looking block) Such cute house stitcheries and quilt blocks with it. Love the photos. V
Again I love BOTH of your Mystery blocks! Your other quilt looks like it is coming along nicely and you have more than 15 days to work on it still!
I can't wait to see your challenge quilt, when it is finished. Colors and design are fantastic. I love, love, love it! You are doing a fantastic job.

Your challenge project is progressing nicely. It's really sweet.
That second block is very, very pretty.
Love the stitching designs you have done in-side the blocks,
Love the choice of fabric for the other 2 blocks too.
Take care

Beautiful blocks, I'm loving your LA quilt top. 4 blocks I'm sure they won't take you too long to get done.
Your blog always inspired me to get in my sewing room and finish!!! You seem to have the "finishing" up projects mastered. Always gorgeous work.
they both look beautiful!! props for doing 2 at once!!
I love everything you are working on, but I especially love the stitchery quilt. I know that you had mentioned what pattern it was before, but could you please tell me again. Thanks so much!
Those blocks look great!
Stunning does not even describe those blocks...WOW. Can't wait to see your finished quilts.

The star blocks are looking quite Americana. You always do such beautiful work.
Gorgeous fabrics in the BOM.
You are really moving on the embroidery quilt.
Wow, I haven't even done the first one yet. It is nice to see what they will look like. Gives me inspiration to get them finished! Thanks for the nice photos.

I love these blocks. I'm going to go search your blog for the other one!
I'm really happy to see your FQS made up so quickly - I thought that blue paisley was a little too strong, but it looks "just right" in the actual block. And love how you are doing your blocks out of Prairie Paisley at the same time - you will end up with 2 great quilts! You're making great progress on your Challenge, too. I love the setting!
Your blocks are GORGEOUS! I can't wait to see both quilts. And, I do love the stitchery quilt. You do lovely work -- thanks for the inspiration!
Stunning job on all projects!!
Mary
Wow, that is a gorgeous block. Great idea to make two at a time for two quilts in the end. Very smart!
Sherri - I just love the Charming Girls - can't wait to see the finish!
Cheers!
That really is a cute quilt you're working with there. I hope you finish it soon, too! :) Pretty blocks.
Love you post today.
Sherri...I love the prairie paisley and the fact that you are making two quilts at a time. I love to do things like that in small "bites." Makes it seem so manageable! Good luck on your challenge!
