Blocks, Blocks, Blocks...

The second block came for the 2009 Designer Mystery Block of the Month from Fat Quarter Shop. Again, another stunning block!

I'm having fun using my stash to make a second set of blocks. It doesn't seem to take any extra time to cut and sew another block...and it's going to be great to have two quilts finished next May!

I've been stitching away, too...only four blocks left to stitch (although they might just be the ones that will take the most time)! I really want to finish this quilt soon--not only because it's my challenge project for the Charming Girls' Quilt Club for July but also because I have about five other projects I'm ready to start! Hope you have a wonderful day...and that you get to sew today!

Five more projects? :) I'm going to be so sad if you ever slow down -- I just love seeing your work. I can't wait to see the finished block-of-the month quilts side by side.

What a great idea to make two blocks at once! They both look really nice. I will do the same when I start a new BOM next time :)

Again I love BOTH of your Mystery blocks! Your other quilt looks like it is coming along nicely and you have more than 15 days to work on it still!

Beautiful blocks, I'm loving your LA quilt top. 4 blocks I'm sure they won't take you too long to get done.

I'm really happy to see your FQS made up so quickly - I thought that blue paisley was a little too strong, but it looks "just right" in the actual block. And love how you are doing your blocks out of Prairie Paisley at the same time - you will end up with 2 great quilts! You're making great progress on your Challenge, too. I love the setting!

Sherri...I love the prairie paisley and the fact that you are making two quilts at a time. I love to do things like that in small "bites." Makes it seem so manageable! Good luck on your challenge!
