Hello and happy Wednesday! And happy Valentine’s Day, too! On Wednesdays I like to post work in progress photos…and believe me…I have been sewing up a storm! I can’t share any of what I’ve been working on until later next month, but it’s going to be really fun to share when I can! I promise everything will be worth the wait–today I finished what might be my favorite quilt ever–and it’s not even quilted yet!
I have three new big quilts finished up and ready for quilting and am working
on the fourth of five new pattern quilts now (it’s a mini that I absolutely love). I’m hoping to finish all of this secret sewing this week, and then I’ll be able to get back to more of my day-to-day quilting! Soon, though, I’ll be sewing something fun with the collection of green fabrics above…perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! I’m still deciding on which pattern to use, though!
And my final Fig Tree “Little Box of Figs” arrived this week too! It came with a fun selection of fabrics and a pattern to use with them. There was also a Moda 2018 calendar towel, a Fig Tree ruler box, and a tape measure! I’ve really enjoyed these fun subscription boxes over the past year!
I’ve also been watching the Olympics as much as possible–it’s been nice to have it on in the background while I’ve been sewing this week. I have one quilt that always reminds me of the Olympics–it has a lot of hand-pieced blocks that were all done during the Winter Olympics several years ago! Isn’t it fun how some of our quilts bring back memories of the times we worked on them?! With so much to watch over the next week or so, I really need to get some handwork ready!
Have a wonderful Wednesday…and thanks so much for stopping by!

Can't wait to see all your secret sewing projects! Your beautiful fabric pics make me homesick for spring, but I do enjoy that I can sew more right now, and not have to worry about outside gardening yet :)!

I was struck with how different these greens are from, ugh, 20 years ago when I worked in a quilt store where all the greens had a more blue cast than these that definitely lean yellow. They do look beautiful together! Have fun with them.

I was on a search for greens just the other day with no luck finding what I had in my head. Your choices are perfect! Can you share the designer/manufacturer ? I ended up purchasing batiks but that was not my first choice. I needed only 6 fat 1/4's ! Who knew that would be so difficult ?!!? Thanks !
