It’s been a little quiet here on the blog as I’ve been preparing to attend International Quilt Market in Houston this week…I’m so excited…I can hardly wait to get there! This will be my second time attending, and I think I’m more excited than I was the first time I went. I know how amazing everything will be…the eye candy and creativity combined in one place make for an incredible experience!
I decided to do a little sewing today to kind of ease my excitement (okay, I should have been packing, but I had a couple of last minute projects I wanted to try and finish)!
Since I’m flying, I decided to prepare some hexies for sewing on the plane and in the airport!
And I started a new bag which I’m not sure will get finished–I’m going to make myself pack after I finish this blog post! Then if there is any time I’ll see about finishing the bag!
What do you most want to see? I’ll do my best to take pictures and share them when I return!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have FUN!! Oh I know you will, who am I kidding? I just love to see the fabrics made into projects – quilts, bags, aprons, WHATEVER – it just gives me a better idea of the scale of the prints and I get so many IDEAS!!

Have a safe trip and a terrific time! What to see? EVERYTHING!
If you have a little bit of time, Market can be the best time to see the quilts that will be exhibited during Festival as it's not too crowded. Okay, it's usually pretty deserted. Which makes seeing the quilts with an unobstructed view and taking pictures a whole lot easier.
Have fun!

I'd love to see what you sewed with the Fig Tree quilts fabric, and then some Riley blake and Moda.
And would you be able to tell me what fabric line the hexie fabric came from that you have shown us is going into your bag? I LOVE hexies!!
