Thanks so much for all of the kind comments on my first market post. I will have several more market recaps in upcoming posts. Today I thought it would be nice to focus on all of the amazing Moda booths. It’s really nice to have so much inspiration all in one area of the show.
I couldn’t post about the Moda booths, however, without mentioning the United Notions section. It’s so much fun to browse these displays and see what’s new.
I just loved the vintage decor too–putting a vintage canning jar on it, and I’m sure to love it!
The Fig Tree booth, featuring Somerset, was beautiful and inspiring. I know I shared this photo yesterday…but it had to be included again. Joanna’s new designs and mini quilt patterns are a breath of fresh air!
Sandy Gervais’s booth was also a beautiful one. My favorite of her new patterns is the Broken Dishes quilt in the background. Her upcoming fabric collection is called Rambling Rose.
Did I mention that the Moda booth received a first place booth award…I was so happy I snapped a picture of the ribbon!
I loved these quilts highlighting the new Collections Community collection.
And who can resist a display of fabulous pre-cuts showcasing the pre-market collection releases.
Yesterday I shared a quilt by April Rosenthal featuring her new fabric line, Best. Day. Ever. This is another one of her fantastic new quilt designs.
Amy Ellis, a new Moda designer, debuted her first collection, Modern Neutrals. Her display was lovely.
Minick and Simpson never fail to impress, and this time their booth featured their latest collection, Lexington. I’ve been collecting their fabrics for years and can’t wait to show you one of the projects I have planned for summer with my scraps from many many of their lines.
Me & My Sister…their booth was bright and happy and featured their latest collection, LOL. The adorable fabric flowers you can see on the pillowcase are so fun–kits are available so you can transform your favorite fabrics into these fun flowers.
One of my favorite new collections is Pedal Pushers by Lauren and Jessi Jung. The booth, the fabric, and the quilts caught my eye every time I walked by. I picked up a fat quarter bundle of this line at Sample Spree and can’t wait to get sewing with it!
Another shot of the Pedal Pushers booth…see…I told you I liked this one!
I always love Primitive Gatherings too…did you know Lisa has a pattern available for the Moda ABC quilt in smaller blocks? There wasn’t a new market release from Lisa; however, her booth was full of beautiful quilts from previous collections.
I shared this one yesterday too, but had to ad it to the mix again. Edyta’s collection, Heart’s Content, is just breathtaking.
Zen Chic is always on the leading edge of modern, and her new collection, Figures promises to be one that will be on many “must have” lists.
Deb Stain is one of the sweetest…her Christmas collection was so beautifully displayed in her booth!
The new Basic Grey collection, Persimmon, was another one of my favorites. This picture doesn’t even begin to do these fabrics justice. They are beautiful. A fat quarter bundle of this line came home with me as well. I just can’t wait to sew with it!
Pat Sloan always has new happy fabrics…and her new quilt designs are so much fun, too! Isn’t that the cutest sewing machine?!
Sandy Klop’s booth is another one I always go “ooh” and “ah” over. Her use of color is brilliant.
Janet Clare also released a new collection. I so enjoyed her presentation at Schoolhouse. It’s so fun hearing her lovely British accent, too!
Finally, Vannessa Goertzen, is another new Moda designer with a beautiful new release collection, Into the Woods. Her booth was filled with so many different projects, and she is as nice as can be, too!
Thanks you for following along. I do have some market goodies to share…a few patterns and mini charms. Leave a comment mentioning your favorite thing I’ve shared so far (from yesterday’s post or this post), and I’ll pick a couple of winners.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thanks so much for all the great pictures. Love all the inspiration and looking forward to your next post.
I think there's a typo (word-o) on the Minick and Simpson booth though. They probably "never fail to" impress or inspire or something positive. Not disappoint – they don't disappoint, ever. Maybe they "never disappoint" is what you meant.
Margaret says
Without question, my favorites so far are the Fig Tree mini quilts.

Brannick and Simpson, love the blue and white, rabbits . . . . Janet Clare, Hearty Good Wishes quilt w/ sea creatures(?) appliqued in alternate blocks, also cat quilt. Zen Chic, modern but not in your face. If I were ever to attend one of these, I'd love to have a bag like Santa, holding infinite more than appears possible from the outside, and I'd walk by those displays of precuts and kits and . . . drool.

Hope you have now caught your breath and are recovering from all the excitement. Oooh, that Jen Kingwell quilt is rather lovely, I would love to have a go at that. The Into the Woods and Zen Chic's Figures fabric lines are both gorgeous, although all the new fabrics have possibilities – I rarely meet a fabric I don't like! Thanks to you, I've already purchased a couple of the fig tree minis patterns – you are such a bad influence (or am I just weak willed when it comes to lovely things?)!
