Hello! Happy Wednesday! I was planning on posting my Snapshots finished quilt on the 15th, and then yesterday I realized the final pattern is now available! Luckily I was a little ahead of the game and have my quilt back from the quilter! The machine work on my binding is finished too, and I just need to do the hand-stitching!
This month’s block was a picnic basket and wine glass. Since I don’t drink
wine, I decided to make just the picnic basket portion of the block. I was able to make just a slight adjustment to the background fabric measurement, so that this block would be vertical instead of horizontal.
I put it up in the quilt next to the bicycle and under the ice cream sundae. This was where the kitty block was supposed to go…but I’m finishing up my kitty block as a pillow for a friend who is missing her kitty this year. I was then able to put the camera block on the front of the quilt where the picnic basket would have gone!
Here is one more close up of the fun circle quilting…now I just need to get the binding finished up!
There are lots of other fun variations of this quilt…be sure to visit the blogs below for all of the finishes. And the “Walk in the Park” picnic basket pattern is available for download here!

Hi Sherri, would it be possible to get the background measurement for the picnic basket as I don't drink. I didn't get a chance to start my quilt yet but am having a few weeks off work over Christmas so hopefully then.

I too just want to do the basket part of this last block. Didn't think I'd be able to include it with the quilt, but I love how you made it happen!

That is so sweet that you gave your kitty block to a friend in need. Hooray on finishing Snapshots – an accomplishment to be proud of Sherri!
