Happy Tuesday, and welcome to Simply Small quilted projects parade day! Last week I thought it might be fun to have a Christmas in July project to share with you, so I used two Moda Candy packs of 25th & Pine to make a couple of potholders and a table runner.
These projects really went together quickly, and I thought it was extra fun that I got all of them from just 2 Moda Candy packs. One charm pack will also work, and you’ll just need some background fabric scraps, fabric for backing and binding, and batting to finish them up (I also added in one layer of InsulBrite in each of the pot holders).
I’ll be emailing the pattern to everyone who participated in today’s parade, and the pattern is also available in my Craftsy Shop (get the potholders/table runner pattern here). If you want to participate in next month’s parade, simply make any small Christmas project using Moda Candy (2 ½″ x 2 ½″ squares). You can use this pattern or any other pattern of your choosing: just make it Christmas!
And now…on with the parade!
Up first is Elaine’s beautiful runner…I just had to share it!
And now for the scrappy place mats…first are Lisa’s beautiful Fig Tree place mats!
Next up are these place mats from Gai.
Janet sent this colorful version accented with black and white.
Joy’s place mats are beautiful!
Sharon made four…looks like they are ready for her table, too!
Debbie is all ready for Halloween with her place mats!
And finally is this version by Susan.
For some Christmas in July inspiration you can read my Christmas in July post on the Moda Cutting Table blog here.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I like them all too but the Halloween ones are my very favorite. I need to get my mini charms out and make some placemats too.
