Happy Tuesday! Today is Simply Small day here at A Quilting Life! I have a fun parade of projects from last month’s pattern. First, though, I’d like to share the project for next month–a Scrappy Churn Dash Table Runner!
I’d been wanting to make a churn dash project for quite some time…this classic block seems to be everywhere these days! The block is simple to piece, and is perfect for 2 Moda Candy packs or for using up scraps.
I added some simple straight line quilting to my runner with lines spaced about 1″ apart.
I used two Moda Candy packs of Color me Happy by V & Co. along with Moda Bella Bleached White 97 (white) and Moda Bella 34 (aqua) which worked perfectly with this collection as a backing and a binding!
These table runners are almost as cute rolled up as they are on the table! Okay…and now for a parade of last month’s Simply Small projects!
We will start out with this beautiful Scrumptious version!
Hildy made a beautiful version using some very spring greens!
Janet made this beautiful version!
I love Jennifer’s mini version!
And Joanna’s version made with Comma is stunning!
Susan made a fun version with Kate Spain’s Daydream collection.
Another spring version was made by Joy!
And Pati made a beautiful red, cream, and blue version!
Peggy used Daydream by Kate Spain!
And Sharon made this beautiful version using Audra’s Iris Garden!
Dorothy made a runner using the block pattern.
And Wendy made this beautiful quilt!
Thanks so much to everyone for participating! If you have a quilt in today’s parade I’ll be emailing you the PDF for next month’s pattern as a thank you! Participants for the April parade will receive the next pattern…and so on!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Next month’s Simply Small parade will be on April 10th!
