Happy Tuesday! While I was attending quilt market I was able to participate in a Schoolhouse session for a newly released scrap quilting book!
My quilt is called Button Box, and it’s been away for a long time, so you can
imagine how excited I was when I found out I’d get to bring it home with me!
I used left over (and even broke into some new packs) Moda Candy squares and tied it all together with low-volume prints and an aqua Moda Dottie dot.
I loved mixing and matching squares from collections by a lot of different designers…
it was so much fun to see how collections that one might never think of using together really worked wonderfully in the same block and quilt.
It was fabulously quilted by Maggi Honeyman…so glad to have it home.
The book is full of amazing quilts (I was able to see most of them at market).
I have some autographed copies in my shop here…or you can find it on Amazon:Moda All-Stars – Scraps Made Simple: 15 Sensationally Scrappy Quilts from Precuts!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
