One of Carrie’s newest Schnibbles…”Joy Luck”… is our pattern for the month of July, and I love it!
It’s actually the first Chinese coin quilt I’ve ever made; I’ve been wanting to make one for while, and it was a lot of fun (note to self…must make more coin quilts)!
I think the top picture shows the colors the best…somehow I caught just the right light indoors for that one. I’m calling this my Heather Bailey quilt since I used all Heather Bailey fabrics–Nicey Jane, Pop Garden, Bijoux, and Fresh Cut (I did use Moda Bella Bleached White for my background fabric).
The rail fence border is really fun on this quilt, too (tried to get a picture outside…but it was just too bright).
Can’t wait to get this one quilted…the patterns will be available soon…and we’ll be giving an extra week to make this one because of the pattern delay!
Carrie made the original Joy Luck using Verna…you can see this and Carrie’s other new Schnibbles on her website.
Mary’s version of State Fair is absolutely gorgeous…love the quilting too!
Susanne made a mini version of State Fair using Make Life fabrics.
Stina made a fun table runner with the State Fair design.
And Mary of Needled Mom made this State Fair.
Nicole’s State Fair was a gift…and has already been given to the recipient!
Suzie’s State Fair…
Lisa used the fabrics from the “In the Pink” collection for her State Fair.
Regena made her State Fair quilt just a bit larger than the pattern called for…turned out great!
Love Sandy’s version!
Sandie L. also made a smaller version of State Fair.
Here is Rita’s colorful version of State Fair.
This is Lucy’s State Fair…which she made into a Christmas tree skirt…great idea Lucy!
Oh…and yes, today is my second blogiversary (I’m planning a giveaway for later in the month to celebrate). I can’t believe I’ve been blogging two years now; I have enjoyed every minute and have learned so much from all of you. I’m so grateful to have been inspired by your quilts, your words, your ideas, and your lives. Thanks so very much! Have a wonderful day today…and I hope you get to sew!

I love the State Fair quilts. I particularly like the one made with the gingham and dots. The name on your blog is Rita…I'm guessing Rita doesn't have a blog because there isn't a link to it but I was wondering how to reach her. I need to find out what fabric line that is because I'm making a baby quilt for a little girl and those colors would be PERFECT!
Any help would be appreciated.
