I’m posting just a little later than usual today! I was traveling home last night from the H&H Americas trade show, and my flight was a bit delayed. But I’ve got some wonderful things to share here today including some photos from the trip 🙂

Saturday Seven 441: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
There are lots of wonderful self-care ideas in this Less, But Better Spring Wellness Routine. I also loved these thoughts on The Difference Between a Full Life and a Crowded One. Definitely some food for thought here.
2. Recipes to Try
I do love a good chicken salad and thought this idea for cooking the chicken is one I’m going to have to try (when I’m in a hurry, I just use rotisserie chicken instead of cooking my own, but I’m intrigued with this idea). Also, I plan to make these Buttered Parmesan Noodles and add scallops or shrimp this week. And for dessert–Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake Bars–yes, please!
3. Quilt + Sew
Today is Fat Quarter Shop’s second annual Jolly Bar Day! Find all of the details here including links to free resources and patterns. Also from Fat Quarter Shop are the fabric requirements for their current Spooled Quilt Along.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
Big Time by Laura Vanderkam is now available. This is one of my favorite non-fiction reads of the past year, and I was also able to have Laura on the podcast earlier this week. Give the podcast a listen and definitely get her book! I didn’t have a chance to listen to any podcasts this week, but I’ll have some suggestions next Saturday for sure.
5. H&H Americas Trade Show
As I mentioned above, I’ve just returned home from the H&H Americas Trade Show. This is not a consumer event but is one for professionals in the fabric, fiber, and craft industries. I shared our new Midsummer collection with shop owners from all over the country. It’s also a time where we have business meetings and just for fun time with our colleagues from Moda. It was a wonderful week, and I’ll share more about it on an upcoming post.
