Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Quilty Fun Sew Along and Blog Tour! If this is your first time here, I hope you’ll linger a little to see a little of my Quilting Life! I love fabric and quilting and have been sharing my quilting life on this blog since 2008.
I was lucky to be able to drop by Lori’s beautiful home this winter and had so much fun seeing all of her beautiful quilts in person. Her home is truly delightful, and I spent a wonderful couple of hours visiting and having lunch.
When Lori first shared her row-along quilt I was quick to jump in and participate and had a lot of fun making the row along quilt using scraps from a variety of Bonnie & Camille fabric collections.
It’s a favorite quilt, and I’m honored to have been asked to participate in this blog tour.
This week it’s time to make Sewing Spool blocks. This week’s special cutting instructions can be found in this pdf download.
We will be making 6 blocks this week, and of course I had to make some Sewing Spools blocks to share. I thought Gina Martin’s Sewing Box collection for Moda would be the perfect fabric.
I used a grey diagonal stripe from Bonnie & Camille’s April Showers for the spool ends.
I also get to give away some Clover Wonder Clips to two winners and a packet of Alphabitties to one winner. The three winners will be chosen from the pool of submissions for the Sewing Spools on the Flickr group and will be announced on the Jolly Jabber next Monday.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
