Happy Tuesday, and welcome to my stop on the Pre-Cut Primer blog tour with Barb & Mary of Me & My Sister Designs and the Fat Quarter Shop! I’ve been super excited to share this book and especially this quilt since I was able to piece it for Barb and Mary last spring!
I was able to piece the 9th grade quilt with the Farmhouse collection by Fig Tree and Company! it was a super fun collection to work with, and this quilt showcased the collection beautifully! I think this pattern will work with any collection–and, there are many other fun patterns in Barb and Mary’s book, too!
Precut Primer contains a series of quilts using a variety of precuts to simplify cutting…there are quilts of different sizes, and the projects progress by grade in level of difficulty (although I made the 9th grade quilt, and it was fast and fun to piece, too).
The book even contains some tips for pre-cut piecing from Barb and Mary…and did I mention I really love the quilt I was able to piece for the book?!
You can find out more about the other projects in the book by following along with all of the other quilters in the blog tour…details here (be sure to leave a comment on the Jolly Jabber blog post in the link for a chance to win a copy of the book)…thanks so much for stopping by!
Just beautiful xxx
