Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing all of the details for the Poinsettia Stars Block of the Month quilt with quilt and pattern details, a video showcase, and information on kits for this beautiful quilt with our Poinsettia & Pear fabrics for Moda Fabrics.
Poinsettia Stars Block of the Month
Quilt Details
The Poinsettia Stars Block of the Month quilt finishes at 59 ½″ x 74 ½″ and features twelve unique star blocks with a strip-pieced sashing and 9-patch cornerstones. Fabrics for this quilt are from the Poinsettia & Pear collection by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics. I used the pear print on red for the outer border along with the green gingham for the binding. The backing is our cheater print from this collection which is a 60″ wide Grandmother’s Flower Garden design (similar to the one we had with our Strawberry Lemonade collection). The pattern is a full color 16-page booklet sized at 8 ½″ x 11″ for easy reading. This project is one I truly enjoyed designing and sewing. The quilting is an all-over design that my friend Marion Bott did.
Kit Information
Fat Quarter Shop is offering a kit for this quilt with all of the fabrics you’ll need for the quilt top and binding. (The pattern is also included in the kit). Kits will be available when the fabrics ship to stores in May 2026.
