Note: all photos on this post were taken by Joanna Figueroa…love these photos!
I realized when Joanna posted about this quilt the other day that I needed to share it as well. This is “Pineapple & Figs” by Joanna Figueroa, and this was the last quilt I sewed for market this spring. Seeing these amazing close-up photos reminds me that I need to sew another one of these asap!
I have to admit I was a little worried when I received the fabric/pattern for this one…after all, I had never made a pineapple quilt before! The fabric arrived late from the mills, and there wasn’t much time to sew…in fact, this quilt was put together in less than 24 hours!
The pattern is terrific, though…no special rulers or templates are needed…and it went together beautifully! You can see more about it on Joanna’s post here.
Have a happy Friday!
PS…there is still time to enter the Fashionable Fabrics giveaway!

Did you move a portable bathroom next to your sewing machine or something? That is almost unbelievable to do it that quick. Inspires me to think what I can do if I had a block of time without anyone calling my name or hurting themselves or needing a glass of water, or…. I'm so tired. Beautiful quilt Sherry!!

I have the pattern and it is much simpler than it looks. I am happy to see the photos on FT blog and yours… because the pattern just doesn't do the quilt justice. It is spectacular!
