Hello and Happy Friday! Today I have a new quilt pattern to share…introducing “Picnic” which I’ve pieced using the Vintage Picnic collection by Bonnie & Camille!
This is one of those quilts I’ve had on the drawing board for a little while
because it seems like I’m always wondering what to do with fat eighth bundles. I’ve designed a few patterns with them, but this time my goal was to really utilize the bundle so there weren’t a ton of left overs…to maximize the size of the quilt.
This is a fast and fun pattern (beginner friendly) that
you can make with just a fat eighth bundle and a yard for the border
(by following the cutting diagram you can even cut strips for a scrappy
binding from your bundle).
I was super happy with the way it turned out…if you have a fat eighth bundle sitting around…this is a great way to use it so that all of the fabrics get a chance to shine!
PDF patterns are in my Etsy shop now, and paper patterns will ship in 1-2 weeks. And…
because I always like to do a “pattern special” when introducing new designs, you can get the Picnic PDF pattern this weekend only for just $6.
Have a wonderful weekend…thanks so much for stopping by!
