Happy Wednesday! I’ve been slowly but steadily working on my hexagon stocking and have all but the last row attached. And while I should probably be limiting my sewing time right now…
For some reason I decided to start a new quilt. On a whim. Last night. When I should have been cleaning or starting food preparation for the big meal tomorrow. I’ve been wanting to make Camille’s “Vintage Holiday” quilt for a long time now, and it occurred to me last evening that I might be able to make it with my Sew Cherry scraps. So off I went, gathering fabrics and cutting blocks.
At first I was just going to make one block, you know, to see how it went. But it went fast so I decided to make three.
I can't wait to see the finished hexie stocking and I love the ornament blocks!

I like how your vintage holiday quilt is coming along. I have only 2 blocks made of it, so mine may just turn into a table runner:) Good luck with your quilt. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Those ornament blocks are just adorable times two! I see why you had to do more!
Those hexies are wonderful…I love the ornament blocks…that is next on my list…I've loved it since I first saw it. Happy Thanksgiving!
Love them all and I know how that goes. It's like my kids used to say "one more Minute Mom". Enjoy your holiday.

Sherri, I don't blame you for starting those adorable blocks, and the fabric is perfect. My new sewing room is calling to me (Really Loud) because I just finished setting it up yesterday. I worked on one BOM block last night, just to see if it was as comfortable sewing in there as I thought it would be, well, it was even better than I expected. Ah well, my pies and rolls are also calling to me and they must have priority, no way I can do them all tomorrow AND get the turkey in the oven in time. Soooo…Have a most blessed Thanksgiving with your family and loved ones. Thank you for your delightful blog. I don't comment often, but today, I just had to. Big Hugs…

I love your Vintage Holiday blocks. I *just bought this pattern– it came in the mail early this week, and I think I may have to spend Friday with this pattern and a bunch of leftover Flurry fabric I recently found. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your Cherry version~
