September is always my friend…I welcome the cooler temperatures and the organization and rhythm that always seems to come into my life with the start of school. This September was incredibly busy for me, though, and so I am thinking October will be my month of “getting back into the swing of things.” So it is with excitement that I say “Hello, October!”
We are pleased to announce “Clover” as our Schnibbles pattern for October, and I can’t tell you how excited we are about this one. There wasn’t even a question as to what this month’s pattern would be after seeing this quilt…in fact, making this quilt is going to be my “reward” sewing for finishing up some things I’m working on this week.
Michele is going to kick-start today’s “Mercerie” parade with her beautiful version of our September pattern. I just love this grey background!
And Carol made this beautiful version!
Debbie made some extra blocks for her beautiful Mercerie!
Elizabeth pieced this beautiful “sand and sea” version with incredibly soothing blues and greens.
And Gerri pieced this gorgeous fall-inspired version.
Hildy sent this Scrumptious version!
Jackie created this stunning modern version!
Joanne also had the sand and sea in mind with her quilt!
Jodi sent in this photo of her beautiful quilt!
Judith made this happy version!
Judy made this beautiful runner using her Mercerie blocks!
Karen O made this beautiful French General version!
Pamela used a fun color combination for her quilt.
And Tanya also used a colored background, creating a completely different look for her quilt.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s parade. Be sure to visit Sinta’s blog for the rest of the quilts. (By the way, both Sinta and Carrie are having a birthday today if you’d like to send some good wishes their way).
Thanks so much for stopping by!

How big does a "Schnibbles" quilt turn out to be. I'm just a beginning quilter but 71 years old so I don't want to be making little doll quilts. Can the patterns be adaptable for larger quilts, maybe lap size or larger?
All the quilts you show are lovely. Thank you.

Bravo, bravo!… It was a splendid parade of 'Mercerie'! And I'm very anxious to sew 'Clover' someday… I'm not sure whether that day will be in October… atleast I'll try to sew it;o)
