Hello! Welcome to my stop on the Great Granny Sew Along blog tour! If you are here for your first time, I welcome you to browse through my blog posts to share just a little bit of my quilting life. I’m a fabric lover and a dedicated quilter, and I have a lot of fun posting about my projects, my tips and my ideas on this wonderful art.
This blog tour and sew along will provide additional instructions each week for the next few weeks so that you can sew a sampler quilt using some block variations from Lori Holt’s book Great Granny Squared. There are four blocks in the sampler quilt; the first one is the Filled Basket Block.
You can find all of the information on the Great Granny Squared home page. And go here to download the Great Granny Squared PDF file for this week.
Make this week’s block, the “Filled Basket Block” pictured above…and Fat Quarter Shop will be giving Sullivan Embroidery Scissors & Clover Point Protectors to three winners that submit their Filled Basket Block photo on the GGS Flickr Group.
I also have one copy of the book to give away to one of my blog readers. Leave a comment about your number one quilting goal right now to be entered. Happy Monday, and thanks so much for stopping by!
Oh, and be sure to drop by Pam’s, Erin’s, The Jolly Jabber, and Lori’s to see their versions!
