Hello and happy Friday! Hope you have had a great week and have some quilting and sewing planned for the weekend!
I finished up the binding on my pineapple quilt yesterday! This was a good finish because I’ve been wanting a pineapple quilt for so long!
In the end I decided to go with the green dots from our Creekside collection,
I really love the backing, too…it’s gives even more of a happy summery feel to an already happy summery quilt!
I’m also working on finishing up a pillow for the booth with some of the extra half-square triangles from the Creekside sewing…more on this soon!
I’m loving this stack of fabrics I got from Fig Tree last week, too…our Desert Bloom spring dots are on the bottom, and most of the other fabrics are from the Moda Essentials collection.
I love red, white and blue fabrics which explains why I try to get some of nearly every Minick & Simpson collection. I have been waiting to see their newest collection at market in a couple of weeks, and then a little bird at Moda sent me a Layer Cake of Ann’s Arbor this week. It does not disappoint!
I love the yellows…
And these blues! I might have to design a new layer cake pattern just so I can use every bit of this fun collection!
Finally…get Craftsy classes under $20 through the weekend…see them here!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
