Easy Charm Pack Tote Tutorial
Charm Pack Tote Details
The Charm Pack Tote is a nice medium-sized bag. It finishes at 13″ tall, 17″ wide, and 6 ½″ deep. I used Soft & Stable for my bag, but you could also use batting or fusible fleece for stabilizer if you wanted a softer bag. Materials required are listed below, and you can download a PDF of the basic instructions. Be sure to watch the video though, for all of the details:
- 24 Charm Squares
- ½ yard lining
- ⅛ yard for bag bottom
- ¼-yard accent for straps and bindings
- 21″ x 46″ Soft & Stable, Batting, or Fusible Fleece
- 2 yards 1″ wide Polypro strapping
- Clover Chalk Marker (optional)
- Wonder Clips (optional)

This is like Minki Kim’s Quilters Big Tote and they are so easy to put together. Love the charm square version and could be done so many different ways and sizes.
sherri McConnell says
Smaller than Minki’s tote! And hopefully a bit quicker with the charm squares!

Wish you had a paper pattern for your charm pak tote. I don’t have a computer so am unable to download your PDF for the pattern.

I can’t wait to complete the tote! It’s so cute. I was wondering where I could find the pattern for the small zip bag in the same picture as the tote. It’d be fun to have a matching bag to use with the tote, for those little items that get scattered to the bottom of every one of my totes.
Betty Gardner says
Me too, I’d like the pattern to small bag, thanks
