Delightfully Yours Coordinating Cross-Stitch Projects

Katie of Count Your Stitches Co. has designed beautiful projects to go with many of my favorite quilts over the past few years. I was excited when she agreed to work up some projects with our upcoming Delightfully Yours fabric collection. Here are some details on the designs from Katie: “All of these cross-stitch projects were stitched on 28 count (over 2 squares) Lugana fabric by the company, Zweigart, in the color Antique White. For beginners, this is equivalent to 14 count cross stitch fabric. The designs use 2 strands of DMC floss, that were carefully picked to match the Delightfully Yours Fabric Line. Katie has a bundle offering of all of these designs, or you can purchase the patterns individually in paper or PDF.

Quilter’s Cottage and Quilter’s Cottage Mini

• 81 stitches wide x 81 stitches high
• finished in a 7” x 7” white frame from Amazon
• Mini version is framed in a 5” x 5” frame from Amazon painted aqua

Block Party

Block Party Cross Stitch:

• 95 stitches wide x 95 stitches high
• almost all regular cross stitch, but the border has some decorative straight stitching
• finished in an 8” x 8” frame from Amazon, painted gray
• Mini pillows were finished using a Delightfully Yours mini charm square as the back,
  and placed in a decorative dough bowl

Sunnyside

• 71 stitches wide x 71 stitches high
• I set this as 4 blocks from the Sunnyside quilt pattern, and chose a red, white, and
  blue color palette
• Finished in a 6” x 6” frame from Amazon, painted gray
