Hello! This is a busy week for me…I was scheduled for a few different blog posts all within a couple of days for several quilt alongs I’m participating in…so here goes!
First up is the Cross Roads quilt along sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop. I really
loved piecing the house blocks last month and also had fun piecing this month’s diamond blocks.
Get the diamond block pattern from Fat Quarter Shop here (scroll down to download the free PDF).
I did quite a bit of pressing open to help make these blocks very flat. There are a few places where there are several fabrics that meet.
The diamond blocks are a little more subtle than those adorable houses from last month, and they add a simple touch of charm to the finished quilt.
Sewing along with the Cross Roads quilt along is a great way to use your stash. Find out more of the details about this project on the Cross Roads home page.

Lovely blocks! Thanks for showing how you pressed the seams. Pressing the seams the best way can make a big difference.
