Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a wonderful time with family and got to see all four of our children…yay! But today I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that it is the last day of November and that Christmas is just three weeks from this Friday!
So on Friday I pulled out all of the Christmas quilts and quilt decor for decorating. I always pull all of the quilts out first. Some always go in the same places, but with others I move them around depending on whether I’ve moved furniture or made something new that year. This is also the time when I
try to take “inventory” and decide what I might need to make before Christmas or during the upcoming year. I’ve already added a couple of things to the list, and if I get my gift sewing finished in time I’ll try to get them done for this year.
One of this year’s new additions is my mini trees wall hanging I finished up this fall. I just got the binding finished up on Thanksgiving Day while waiting for the turkey to cook!
I just love the swirly design with leaves that my friend Marion quilted on it!
I also did a little quilting on Saturday. I’m trying to get fabrics quilted for gift giving. I’m doing a 1″ cross-hatch and thought if I quilted one or two each day I will be able to finish up the bags assembly line style later this week.
The back of the green Fig Tree print above has the light Fig Tree print below for backing. And the Iowa print above has the blue 30’s print on the other side.
One more thing I’ve been working on is finishing up the binding on my Snapshots quilt. It’s quilted with some perfect circles which just add to the fun overall feeling of this quilt!
What have you been working on? Remember that tomorrow is the Minis and More parade…if you’ve made anything small during November that you’d like to share, please email me a photo…no blog necessary to join in…but if you’d like me to link to your blog, please include the link in your email.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love your mini trees quilt. Is there a pattern available? I tend to jump between various blogs but can't seem to get my things done and read all the blogs I'd like! I'm in need of updating my Christmas quilts. It won't happen this year but I sure can aim for next year!

Your Christmas quilts are so pretty Sherri, and I'm so glad that you were able to see all 4 of your children for Thanksgiving: that makes it the best kind of holiday! Have a great week! Hugs, H

Oh such beautiful quilts to decorate with!! I'm ashamed to say I have never made myself any Christmas quilts. I did make a Christmas runner for Me this year. You have inspired me to get busy for next year. Thanks for sharing!! Kay A.
