Happy Monday! I have another finished quilt to share…my Scrappy Patchwork quilt is back from the quilter and bound, too! This was such a fun project. I really didn’t know how I was going to get it done with all of my Front Porch sewing that I was doing at the same time…but I’m so glad I took a little time each day to work on these simple blocks.
My friend Marion did a fun swirly all-over pattern that has some leaves and
I was really thinking fall when I chose the binding…don’t you think?!
For backing I used one of the fabrics I used quite a bit of in the front of the quilt (I had a bolt of this one).
I can hardly wait to use this quilt! I usually wait to decorate for fall until September first, but this year I might have to start early!
Also…I tried a new batting for this quilt, so I’m going to wash it right away, and I’ll let you know my thoughts!
