Made in June 2026
I did get a good amount of sewing finished up this month! After I returned home from Dallas in the early part of June I really took advantage of my afternoons and weekends to sew. I finished up some fun bags, a new table runner (new pattern for that also includes a quilt), and kept up with my block of the month and Sewcialites 3 sew alongs. Pattern links for my finishes are below:
- Patchwork Bow (above left)
- Mini Patchwork Bow (hoping to get this done in the next day or so)
- Sunshine Sisters Bags (above right are the medium and small versions in that pattern)
- Cheerful Table Runner (below and at the top of today’s post–this pattern was included in our Poinsettia & Pear Project Packages and also features a lap quilt option).
5 Things I’m Loving Right Now
Below are some of the things I’m really loving right now! I look forward to compiling this list each month:
- Under 100-degree temperatures! We’ve been under 100 degrees for two days in a row, and I’m loving it! Even better is that nighttime temperatures are dipping into the low seventies which means cool weather for early morning walks!
- My favorite facial sunscreen ever is this one. You can also get a clear version, but I honestly love the light tint and don’t even wear makeup with it most days.
- Mid-year! We are halfway through the year which means it’s time for my mid-year review. I love doing these and will share it with you soon. In the meantime, you can do your own using the prompts on this free printable (with sewing room organization helps available on this page, too).
- A few things from Amazon this month: these darling scalloped baskets are perfect for storing and displaying your quilting supplies and fabrics (they are also perfect for bathrooms and kitchens); I also picked up this pair of organizers–again, great for the bathroom but also so fun for your sewing room.
- Cutterpillar lights, mats, and quilting and crafting products. We did a live stream last week sharing their awesome fold up cutting mats, lights, and accessories. You can still get a 15% discount on any purchase with the code AQUILTINGLIFE at checkout.

I love the variety of topics and links in your posts. I ordered my first Cutterpiller products after your live. I have wanted the light board for a long time. I got that and your bundle. I like to cross stitch in the car and I’m hoping the little magnifying light works for that.
