Hello, friends! Today I’m happy to be sharing my Garden Spools: England Trip Projects. These fun projects include a mini and a wall hanging that I designed for the attendees of my recent trip to England. My workshop for the event was a class on English paper-pieced grandmother’s flower garden blocks, and of course I had to design something for them to use with their sample flowers! Keep reading and watch today’s video to see the projects up close and some photos from the trip.

Garden Spools Projects
I first made the mini quilt and then realized it would also be a fun four-block wall hanging. So I included both in the patterns. Here are a few details for the projects:
- Mini Quilt finishes at 14 ½″ x 14 ½″
- Wall Hanging Quilt finishes at 31 ½″ x 31 ½″
- A Layer Cake will make the spool blocks and the hexagons for both projects, but it’s also super scrap friendly.
- You will also need 1″ finished hexagon papers for the projects in addition to the pattern.

Watch the Garden Spools project video with trip photos above or watch on our YouTube channel. You’ll get to see the projects up close and also see some photos from our event. (I’ve also already written a short recap of the trip you can read here).

Garden Spools Stickers and Patterns
As, I mentioned in the video, I also have some of the Garden Spools stickers left from the trip.
Thanks so much for stopping by for a look at the new Garden Spools: England Trip Projects–it was a lot of fun designing and making these for our event across the pond.
Happy Quilting!
