I really can’t believe it’s here and that the beginning of school is just around the corner here–I’m holding on to the last of these lazier days for sure!

Here is a fun collection of Delicious Summer Brunch Recipes. And here is a simple but delicious Spaghetti dinner idea (I will probably add shrimp or scallops). Finally, I can’t wait to try this Dill Pickle Chicken Salad.

This post on over-optimizing was really good. I also loved this episode on digital detoxes and how to make them work (hint–there is a better way than a detox).

It’s August, and that means a new $5 pattern. Al Fresco is a fat eighth friendly quilt that is wonderful in any group of fabrics!
