Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 430: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post with a roundup of things I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll find some good inspiration for your weekend and the week ahead.
Here at home, it’s all things sewing. Sample yardage for our spring release collection arrived early this week, and I’ve already got several projects cut out and in progress. I have a good amount of time to get these quilts and projects finished, so I’m really trying to just enjoy the sewing. I’m also sneaking in a few works in progress, too!

Saturday Seven 430: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This article with 6 Mindset Shifts really spoke to me–each one has been valuable in my life. I also loved these Low-Effort Habits for Low-Willpower Days! Finally, here are some good ideas for getting those January goals back on track.
2. Recipes to Try
This Instant Pot Salsa Verde Chicken recipe also has instructions for using a slow cooker. I’m going to make a batch and then freeze it for a few different meals. I also want to try this Sheet Pan Italian Steak and Veggies–looks like another easy weeknight meal!

3. Quilt + Sew
Fat Quarter Shop just shared a new free charm pack quilt pattern. Find the details here. Also, the Sewcialites 3 sew along just started yesterday! I’m super excited to be sewing 3″ blocks using a variety of our collections! Need help preparing or starting a sew along? Find my best tips here.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
There are some good ideas for dealing with the February doldrums in this Best of Both Worlds podcast. And the Productive Woman’s “Where Things Go: Creating Simple Homes for the Stuff You Use Every Day” is terrific. Find her free download sheet to get started here.
5. Winter Things
Spring is just around the corner, but here are a couple of seasonal things while we are still dealing with winter. It’s not too late to reset your home for the start of a new year. Also, I found a lot of good information about inflammation and specifically winter inflammation in this piece (seems like everyone is talking about this these days).

6. Organizing
This month I’m focusing on dealing with paper clutter. Here is a great article with several tips for dealing with papers and similar items. In the sewing room, I’m working on pattern storage (like many of you I have lots of printed patterns). My March goal is actually to get them all organized into easily searchable categories with a list of where everything is.
