I’m hoping to be in my sewing room most of the day today. I’ve got a fun stack of blocks and small projects to get done, and I’m also hoping to do a little organizing!

Saturday Seven 389: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
For me, organizing and editing is definitely a form of self-care. I feel both freedom and accomplishment when working on these types of projects. If you’re looking at editing your possessions, here are some great rules to use. And here are some habits to help reduce stress and anxiety.
2. Recipes to Try
Lemon Blueberry Cobbler Bars: yes, please! And this Broccoli Shells and Cheese came highly recommended. Finally, I’m definitely making this Bruschetta Salmon with Balsamic Glaze this weekend, too!

4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
I loved the book Organize First, Decorate Second: How to Go from Clutter to Creativity by Whitney English (just finished it the other evening). It has so many practical tips and ideas and also is sprinkled with lovely quotes on beauty and home. I also enjoyed this Best of Both Worlds podcast with an interview with the Organize First, Decorate Second author.
