Little Ruby Sew Along with Fat Quarter Shop

Happy Monday and Happy Memorial Day!  I'm ever so grateful and can't really put into words my appreciation for those who have given their lives in defending our nation's freedoms.

Today I'm participating in the Fat Quarter Shop Little Ruby Quilt Along. This quilt along is for a quilt designed by Camille Roskelley. I'm really looking forward to this one because of the design, and I love quilt along projects that are divided into manageable segments.  We will be posting every two weeks about this quilt along, giving you plenty of time to manage each step!

Part one is basically gathering supplies and doing the cutting.  Kimberly has a

You Tube video with all of the directions you'll need...be sure to watch it first. You'll be able to get the fabric requirements and cutting directions during the video.

Of course I'm going to be using my Desert Bloom fabrics...I'm so excited about this! The quilt made up with Little Ruby fabrics is pictured below...but the possibilities are endless as far as fabric selection goes...modern or traditional fabrics both work well with this design.

Be sure to follow along with all of the other quilters sewing this project...

Melissa from Happy Quilting
Angie from Gnome Angel

Andy from A Bright Corner

I'll be back on June 13th to share my blocks!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I sure wish I had your Desert Bloom to do this quilt along! I didn't know about it and I'm sure happy you had this in your blog today! I guess I had better buy another jelly roll!
