Happy Saturday! Whew...the week has certainly flown by! I'm still sewing and preparing for International Quilt Market next week...my list is getting shorter, though!
Early this year I pieced a fun quilt, Daybreak, using traditional Drunkard's Path blocks and our Valley fabric. But there was a ruler I was able to use that make this quilt incredibly easy to cut out.
I ended up going to spend some time at The Fat Quarter Shop in early March
and filming a video with Kimberly showing step by step how to use the ruler and how to piece the quilt. And...Fat Quarter Shop has the pattern available for you for free.
Here is the video we filmed...
To download the free pattern and to enter a terrific giveaway for a chance to win some of my patterns or a Valley Jelly Roll from Fat Quarter Shop, stop by the Jolly Jabber blog.
The Daybreak quilt is back at home with me now, and I love it! What is even more fun is that Fat Quarter Shop also has a mini version of this quilt...which I'm going to make as soon as I get home from market!
Thank you so much for stopping by...and thank you so much for your comments. I haven't been able to reply with everything that is going on right now, but I do read every one and will get back to answering emails after market.
Next week I get to share lots of details about the new fabric...and of course some of the smaller projects I've been working on!
PS...Big sale at Craftsy now...
