July, Really?!!!

Welcome July! The new month really seemed to catch me by surprise....so luckily I was able to borrow this photo of Sinta's quilt for July--a dreamy Strawberry Fields version of "George." "George" is a Schnibbles pattern that showcases the traditional monkey wrench block.  This design will look wonderful in traditional or modern fabrics!

Now, we don't have a lot of entries for our parades this month...summer seems to keep all of us so very busy!  But we did get several wonderful photos sent in.  This version of "Recess" is from Michelle--I love the Origins fabrics in this quilt!

And Mary on Lake Pulaski made this great version of "Ric Rac."  She wanted to use it for a table covering for her 4th of July festivities--and finished just in time (her version used 448 triangles)!

LeAnn made this very soft version of "Recess" using Lil" Rascals by Moda.

Amanda made this great Recess using a variety of different lines from her stash...love the bright colors and fun mix of patterns!

And again, another "Ric Rac" from Leah!

And Sandie made her Ric Rac rows into two pillows...what a clever idea. Be sure to stop by Sinta's blog for the rest of the parade!

Today is kind of a special day for me...on July1st, 2008 I started my blog!  So I've officially been blogging for three wonderful years!  Thanks so much to everyone for your wonderful comments, ideas, and inspiration! I have truly learned more than I ever imagined I would when I started--and I can only hope to give some of that back by continuing to post my thoughts and ideas about quilting and creating!  Hope you have a wonderful day!

As always, thanks for hosting. Even though our tour is a bit smaller than usual, I just love seeing what everyone has done with the pattern. George is going to be great!

I love what everybody did! I think Recess was the winner for choice of pattern but everyone did such fun versions! Great parade, even though it's a petite one!ha!
