A Year of Schnibbles...

It seems like just the other day "A Year of Schnibbles" was just an idea Sinta and I were tossing back and forth through emails.  We thought it would be a lot of fun since Schnibbles are fun to make and perfect for decorating. I've had a lot of fun participating myself...here's my own year in review...

First up was Winter White...one of my favorites!
Cindy Lou Who seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a Halloween table topper....actually this is quilted now...I need to get it ready to use this year in my decorating!
Picnic...Simple Abundance...oh how I love this quilt...it's hanging up in my entryway right now!
Tuffets...the perfect accessory and gift...it seems like I make these mostly for gifts!

Madeline....I love quilts with stars!

Sunday Best in Verna...the perfect spring fabric...or any time fabric!

Roundabout...this quilt goes great with my February decor...

Tagalong...a patriotic quilt!

My first "large" Schnibble...Plan C before quilting...it's quilted and bound now!

Good Fortune...it wasn't a year of Schnibbles project, but it's one of my favorites!

State Fair...love these American Jane fabrics with the ruler binding!

Joy Luck...aka my Heather Bailey quilt...I'm actually binding this one right now!

And Short Story (have to share the photo again)...in Bliss...dreamy...perhaps my favorite!

Many of you participated each and every month--thanks so much.We had about 60-70 people who participated throughout the year and 25 who finished every project.  A few of the 20 actually started late and got caught up with all the projects! Many more thanks are in order...first a big thank you to Carrie...for your inspiration, for your designs, for your generosity, and for allowing a couple of bloggers to come up with this crazy plan that created extra work for you each month along with your already busy schedule--and Happy Birthday today too!  Thank you Sinta...for thinking of a blog club...for thinking of me...and for doing the majority of the work with our wonderful sponsors.  And happy birthday to Sinta who happens to be celebrating a birthday today as well!  Thank you to our sponsors who have been the greatest! And thanks to everyone who commented and who shared their ideas and inspiration about these great quilts!

Okay...so here are links to the parades of those who finished all 12 Schnibbles: AndeeBeatrice, Cara,  Carol, CarolCindy, Cindy, Darlene, Edith,  HeatherJoKim,  Judith,  LisaMarianneRegena, Robin,  Sandie LSandy, Simone,  Stina, Trisha,

Three non-bloggers also completed all 12 projects...Paulette, Rita, and Sandy F.

                                                                       Rita's (no blog) Plan C

Here is another beautiful parade from Julia who finished many of the projects this year--and finished them beautifully!

Another parade...just in...Polly's!

If I've missed anyone's link to their parade...please let me know so I can add it in before prizes are chosen tomorrow.

I'm off to visit everyone but before I do I have to mention that you've forgotten Carol - Brown Quilts 4 Me - she had a beautiful collage on her blog in August/early September. And, Carol from Carol's Craft Blog - she also had a collage on her blog.

thank you!

That's quite an accomplishment. You should give yourself a big pat on the back. I couldn't pick a favorite if my life depended on it. Love them all.

Thanks to both Sherri and Sinta for not just "A Year of Schnibbles" but "A Year of Fun".

And I have to admit - the year even took me to patterns that I would never had tried so going "outside my box" proved to be a good thing.

Deserving congrats to all the Schnibblers !!

What a wonderful year. It's been fun to see how each quilt had a different look even though everyone used the same patterns.
Very inspirational!

Has it really been a year since you started this? There have been so many beautiful quilts made over the course of these 12 months. I loved seeing the variety of projects each time using the same patterns. I am impressed!

Thanks for the mini quilt show of your Schnibbles. I've really enjoyed the parades every month. You and Sinta have done a terrific job coordinating it.

p.s. - I think Short Story may be my favorite, too. :-)
