April Goals

Schnibbles Times Two: Quilts from 5" or 10" Squares (That Patchwork Place)

I have a lot of April goals...first up is to make a quilt from Carrie's new book, Schnibbles Times Two!  I get to take a class from Carrie later this week and absolutely can't wait! We will be making a project from the book, and I already have my fabric chosen...just need to get cutting!

Projects two and three involve this fabric, 12 Days of Christmas by Kate Spain...actually I've already gotten started on these...hope to share soon!

Project four is to sew this Piece of Cake (pattern by Camille) quilt for a gift...it's cut and ready to go and, well, this one will be a "piece of cake" to finish!

Project five is to finish this Fig Tree quilt...I absolutely love these blocks made with Patisserie, and can't wait to set these together!

Goal six is to finish my last eight A La Mode blocks...I have the pinwheel centers finished and ready to go for this one!

Goal seven is to make the cover quilt from the latest Fresh Vintage, volume 15.  I really heart this quilt and am looking forward to using lots of my Fig Tree scraps for it! There is also a really cute apron pattern in this issue that I might have to make as well!

Goal 8 & 9 is just to figure out what to do with these charm packs...seriously...I love them both...you can't go wrong with Moda, French General, and those 3 Sisters!

Goal 10 (I sure am being optimistic, aren't I...well...I was making a master "to do" list, and just thought I'd go ahead and list everything) is to start this quilt using OZ by Moda and Kim's book Scrap Basket Surprises!

And finally, goal 11 is to work on my hexagons...I pulled this out and worked on it the other day while watching tv...made me wonder why I haven't worked on these for awhile...it really was so relaxing to hand stitch these together.

Well, once again I must say thank you to Kelly...who had the great idea to start the Charming Girls and Guys Quilt club...and get me thinking about quilting goals each month!

Oh my, so many projects, I can't even get a Schnibbles quilt done. I've bought the patterns, just other things get sewn first. I think I need to join the group on getting organized and write it down.
Can't wait to see them.

Wow, Sherri! I got a little dizzy reading about all the things you're doing this month. I can't wait to see them! I'm really anxious to get Carrie's book. I love the idea of the larger quilts made from the Schnibbles patterns.

Love the 12 Days fabric. It reminds me a little of the Christmas fabrics in your Cameo quilt.

Have fun sewing!

You always set such high goals for yourself, Sherri! The most impressive part is you always reach them too. Good for you. This is really a fabulous list. I love that Fresh Vintage booklet - might have to get one of those. I am taking the plunge into hexagons, so I loved seeing your hexagon flower. Good luck!

An ambitious list of projects for April, Sherri but if I was a betting woman, I'd lay odds that you'll reach all your goals...and maybe even more.

I can't wait to see your newest creations!

Good luck!

A very impressive list, but you've chosen some lovely things so it should be a fun month.

Is the Fig Tree project Paper Roses? Those are the cutest pinwheel blocks I've ever seen.
