Happy Tuesday! I was able to do a lot of sewing over the past week, for which I’m really grateful! Sewing really is so good for the soul! I’ve got a lot of sewing in the near future for an upcoming fabric collection, so I took the last weekend before the fabric’s arrival to work on fun projects and works in progress.
The Village quilt has been on my list of “want to make quilts” for quite some
time…I had the pattern just sitting in a file, and seeing that there was a quilt along going on was just what I needed to get me sewing (I posted about this sew along here just the other day)!
Of course picking fabric is always the hardest decision to make, so when I decided it would be really fun if I mixed fabrics from all of our collections, the hard part was over!
These blocks have fabrics from the three most recent collections: Desert Bloom, Creekside, and The Front Porch. I’ll be adding in fabrics from the others (and upcoming collection) soon!
I’m just a little bit in love with these blocks–now I just need to color in my first row of houses on this fun printable from Stitch Supply Co.! (And actually, I can color in two rows already because there are 8 finished houses I can’t share just yet)!
I have some other fun projects to share soon, too–I’ve made some good progress on works in progress lately!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love this pattern too! I have all the little houses sewn and just need to put them on the design wall to determine their layout. Can’t wait to see yours. Love the fabrics you chose!

Sherri, your blocks are adorbs.
I would love to start this pattern, but I am up to my eyeballs in projects and my family is making fun of me. I have to finish a few so they don't think I am a big loser.
Wouldn't it be great to be thrown into sewing time out?

I also bought this pattern last year, but haven't done anything with it. A sew along sounds like the motivation I need. Time to start digging through my stash!

I love this quilt…I made mine last year. It actually comes together very quickly. I used lots and lots of random charm squares and ended up with a vibrantly happy village. Enjoy!

I think the universe is trying to tell me something! I just came across this pattern (in my bedroom of all places) and now your post. I guess I have no choice but to start one!
