A rare occasion today…a picture of food on my blog! I’m not a wonderful cook, so you won’t see this often…but yesterday my kids wanted homemade pizza for dinner…and I could not find my pizza dough recipe…anywhere! Luckily, I had just finished reading The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl by Ree Drummond and remembered there was a pizza dough recipe in the book. Anyway…it was wonderful pizza dough…and the book is wonderful as well…I read it cover to cover the day I received it!
If things seem crazy for you…you might enjoy the wisdom in this wonderful, short, simple post from SouleMama yesterday. Have a great day!

That makes me hungry! I've never made a pizza from scratch.
Love your kitchen sink block with the Beach House fabrics. Very nice.
And I adore the nine-patch quilt with the Alliance fabrics. That's a really cool pattern. I'm always amazed by the amount of work you do in such a short time!

We used to make homemade pizza all the time when I was a kid, so that pizza takes me back a few years! looks delicious. I have been adoring those new Moda sampler packs, but have resisted buying one so far. Your new blocks look fun – I especially love how that one from the basket book looks! Such sweet fabrics too.

So those little 2 1/2 inch sampler squares are available in shops? I've never seen them before but I think I would like them. Sometimes it seems like all I do is cut 2 1/2" squares.

The pizza looks amazing. We make our own pizza sometimes. THe pizza stone and paddle are essential. My neighbor Laura waited in line for over 3 hours to get her book signed when the Pioneer woman came to SLC. I love the new block!
