Hello! It’s Snapshots Quilt Along day! And this quilt just keep getting better with each block that we add. I have to admit, I thought the bicycle block was going to be a lot of work, but I cut it out, used my Alphabitties to mark all of the pieces, and it went together just fine!
I could hardly wait to finish up this block and add it to the third row!
I’m bordering my blocks with the background, red dot, and sashing as I go now, so my quilt will be about finished when I make that last block!
The tiny pinwheels where my favorite part of this month’s block. I’ve been starching all of my fabrics for this quilt before I cut the individual pieces, and that has really seemed to help my accuracy.
I love this bicycle! And paired with the hot air balloon from last month, this is a perfect pair of summer blocks!

Cute bike: I did think it took quite a few pieces!! I had to tell you that I was on Natalia Bonner's blog and saw your red and white quilt: it is stunning!!! Looks like you'll be getting it back soon! I know what you'll be binding up quick as a wink! 🙂 Have a great week: has it been hot as the dickens there? It's even been hot here and choking with the smoke that has been blown down from the fires up north. Hugs, H
