Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 431: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a roundup of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week. I also share recent posts from my site and important “coming soon” items to keep you in the know of all things A Quilting Life.
At home I’m sewing this weekend! I finished up a secret project yesterday and will be working on more of the sample sewing for our April collection release. But I’m also working on some works in progress and getting some things checked off of my list from the last many months! I hope you are able to get some sewing done this weekend as well.

Saturday Seven 431: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
Some commonsense thoughts on beauty routines and beauty culture. I also loved this article on “The gift of Presence: Screen Free Quality Time with Others.”
2. Recipes to Try
I love everything lemon so can’t wait to try a multitude of these lemon-infused recipes. And I think I’m going to have to try these Pizza Cupcakes! And (one more lemon recipe) this Lemon Chicken and Rice Casserole came highly recommended by Nicole (whose blog I have followed for more than a decade and a half).

3. Quilt + Sew
How about some spring ideas for your quilting! Since spring is just around the corner, here are some favorite Flower Quilts to brighten your day. And additionally, if these end of winter days have you down, here are ideas for getting out of a creative slump!
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
This week I listened to and enjoyed the most recent Productive Woman episode here. I also enjoyed hearing Laura Vanderkam on The Mel Robbins podcast. And the Deep Questions episode on “Can Movies Save Us from Our Phones?” was also a great one that I enjoyed.

5. Cozy, Coastal Summer, and Happy Spools!
Three fun quilts to share today! First, the pattern for Cozy (above left) is now available as a single pattern in paper and PDF. Find it in the shop here. Coastal Summer (middle) was the February $5 pattern of the month. It goes back to regular price tomorrow. And finally, Happy Spools (above right) includes two sizes including the darling mini shown and a larger quilt. This one is the March $5 pattern, and it’s available for that price beginning today!

6. October Days
One of my favorites of Chelsi’s new Birch & Willow designs is her October Days quilt. This gorgeous medallion is sure to be a favorite for your fall decorating. Watch the video above, and find the paper in paper or PDF below.
