Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 401: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a roundup of things I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll be inspired by some of the things I’ve found. I’ll be in my sewing room much of the weekend sewing with an upcoming collection. I’m on my second quilt with this group of fabrics and am just loving them!

Also, I’m super excited that fall is just around the corner (officially next month now that it’s August)! Fall is my favorite season, and even though we are still having 100+ temperatures I’m really wanting to decorate for fall. I’m going to make myself wait until September, but it’s fun to start planning! When do you decorate for fall?

I loved these thoughts on Slow Growth–sometimes change is slow, but it’s still real. I also loved this article on The Need for Boredom. At first, I thought of family members, but I also need to remember these ideas.

2. Recipes to Try

I’m making this Whipped Feta Greek Pasta Salad today! And here is a terrific roundup of Meal Prep Lunch Ideas that are perfect for quick lunch and dinner options. And finally…S’mores Cookie Bars for dessert–these look amazing!

3. Quilt + Sew

First…my $5 pattern of the month for August is Maple Sky Remix! This is a terrific pattern with a large quilt and a mini version included. Also, I’m super excited that Fat Quarter Shop’s Autumn Nights Sew Along is beginning soon. I’m sewing along with a scrappy mix of fabrics from a few of our collections and love how it’s looking so far!

This week I enjoyed Escaping the Digital Doldrums with Cal Newport (fascinating story about Walt Disney and creativity). I also enjoyed the Planner Peace + Efficiency Hacks episode from Best Laid Plans.
