Hello! Just before I left for Quilt Market, these adorable vinyl pouches arrived at my doorstep! And, there is a fun story behind their arrival–A little while ago I sent my friend Kaitlyn some pieces of The Front Porch fabric collection to use for samples for a new pattern she was designing.
She said she would make the samples and let me display them in my booth at
Houston Quilt Market. I was excited to see them, but I wasn’t prepared for how adorable these little bags would be! Let me tell you that these pouches are going to be my new favorites. (The pattern is called “Hello Pouches” and is available here in paper or PDF).
There are so many things to love about these bags…first, all four sizes are included in the pattern. Kaitlyn writes excellent patterns, and her directions are always easy to follow. I can’t wait to make some for gifts!
Kaitlyn included a bonus pouch for me made with some mini charms I had included along with the fabric…and she used one of my favorite Creekside prints for the lining on that one! I love it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cute pouches! I#ve bought some vinyl a while ago but didn't use it yet. Perhaps I'll give it a try with these pouches.

Just gorgeous. I love being able to see what is in the pouch, although I haven't been brave enough to stitch with vinyl yet. x

Those are adorable!! And I have plenty of vinyl at my disposal: Paul had to make a clear cover for a wine botteling line (oh, it was a nightmare: the stuff LOVES to stick to itself!!), so we have vinyl scraps left over. Looks like I need to make some of those! 🙂 Thanks for showing them. When does your line come out? Hugs, H

Is there a way to block all the ads and pop-ups on your blog? I love reading your blog, but these are very annoying.
