Just before market I was able to piece two quilts for my friend Joanna of Fig Tree & Company! I fell in love with both designs, and they were both beautifully quilted by Joanna’s quilter Diana.
This quilt is Lollipops, and I was able to piece the Tapestry version. Joanna has a full post on this new pattern here.
I love the cross-hatch quilting on the center circles. This quilt was actually made from a jelly roll and was a fun pattern to make!
I have to say, though, that my favorite was this quilt…
Introducing Milky Way! I loved making the Americana version…you can see the other versions on Joanna’s post here. I think I’m going to make a red and green version for myself for Christmas…but a bright version would be fun too…and the individual star blocks would make great table runners or pillows.
I really, really loved making this quilt; it’s one of my all-time favorites.
And here it is again at market…next to my favorite sailboat quilt ever (another Fig Tree design!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Note: All photos on this post except for the last one were taken by Joanna Figueroa…thank you Joanna!

I have to say that This has been my favourite Booth/fabric line/quilts/ from all the pics I have seen of Market. Love that star…not sure if my piecing skills are up to it, but I sure would like to give it a try!

I made a beeline for the Cabbage Rose booth at Quilt Festival last week because I knew they'd have the new Fig Tree Quilts – and they did! They were just beautiful in person, and of course I bought them all to add to my collection 🙂 I've never seen the sailboat quilt before – is that something coming later?

Beautiful quilts – Milky Way is a definite favorite. That's the cutest sailboat quilt I've ever seen.

Sherri I bought the Milky Way pattern at festival this weekend. What fabric did you use on this quilt?
Abby says
These patterns are both great. I've already purchased them both! I love Milky Way – was it difficult to make? Did it go together fast?

I saw both of these in person!!

I think I got to see your quilts at PIQF in Santa Clara a few weeks ago!!! Wish I knew then that you had made them: I would have looked at them more closely to appreciate them! They are lovely quilts: how long did it take you to make them (approximately)? that new line of Joanna's with the blues is going to be a favorite of mine!! Have a great week: love your posts and the great things that you show us!! 🙂

I'm in love with Halloween Pops, but Milky Way in the Americana is too cute! May have to do that one too, along with those adorable sailboats! Great job piecing them 🙂
