This month is Amy’s month for our Bee’s Knees quilting group. She sent along some gorgeous Echino prints with solid colored linen. I had so much fun sewing blocks for Amy!
Although I have some Echino prints in my stash, I have to say I’ve never sewn with them. They were absolutely wonderful to sew with, and I think I’m definitely over my fear of using them!
Amy said it was okay to make two blocks if you wanted…so I kept sewing! I really have had a blast sewing “Bee” blocks every month. It’s always fun to see the fabrics everyone chooses!
I’ve also been doing a little sewing with this charm pack of the ladies stitching club by Oliver + S for Moda. The prints are kind of vintagey-modern…retro yet really today.
I love the oranges, the golds, the blues, pinks and purples.
And I’ve started a new project…more on this soon!
Also, congratulations to LynCC who won the Fort Worth Fabric Studio bundle giveaway from last week! I’ll be e-mailing you!

I was going to say that those fabrics are very different for what you do. But then I read you are in a swap. I like those fabrics.

Bees are fun for getting to try new things. I have some Echino fabric, too. Haven't cut into it either! LOL. I love that new fabric from Oliver and S. I have heard about it, but I haven't really seen it before. Thanks for sharing it!
