I’ve been planning on making this a “work in progress” week…a week where I don’t start anything new but concentrate on finishing up things I’ve started. So on Saturday I hurried up and cut out a couple of new projects so I’d be able to work on them! Hopefully I’m not the only person out there who does this when setting goals…(another example of this is buying a bunch of fabric right before going on a fabric “diet”)!
So first up this week was making 256 half-square triangles…these little guys will finish up at 1 ½”! I have a whole lot of trimming to do now!
The other project I started is a little bit further along…it’s one that has been on my list for over a year…
Okay…well…I’ve got a bunch of housework/organizing tasks to get to before I do any more sewing today. But I’m going to stick to works in progress this week and hope to finish up some things that are in parts and pieces right now.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

oh those HST are teeny! Can't wait to see what you are making – again.
I was thinking the other day that you get a LOT of quilting done. I'd love to read about your typical day's schedule.

Love the bright colors! Matches the blazing hot sun and temperature going on in Texas. Is that a Stems quilt I see started? If it is, that is going to come out great in those fabrics. Of course, there are almost endless patterns that you could be making… guess it will be a surprise!

I occasionally go on a fabric diet too, but I fail as miserably at that as I do with a food diet. You are so funny.

I too finished up some WIP's over the weekend. At least they are pieced and put away in the cupboard until I get backing/batting to finish them.

I need about a year of that. LOL! But if I started with a week, that would be good. Actually, although I've started and finished some small things this week, I have also committed to getting caught up on some (not all) of my WIPs. It has felt good to make progress. 🙂 Have fun!

I just bought the best ruler for trimming HST's! Check out the Bloc ruler – looks like it will be fantastic.

Hmmm your a work in progress week sounds amazing. Now I'm really on a stash diet even though I really really want some new fabric. But I have to start using fabric I've bought already, and there's loads of it. Only problem is most of it I don't love anymore but I shall just have to use it.
