Made this Month
After being out of town for nearly three weeks at the end of May and beginning of June, I didn’t get as much sewing time in as usual. But I did have time to make some darling Star and Stripes mug rugs and a fun Christmas Mini. I also worked on my A Quilting Life Block of the Month and Moda Blockheads 6 blocks and made some test blocks for some new patterns coming this fall.

17 Years Blogging!
July 1, 2025, marked my 17th anniversary writing this blog. I have truly enjoyed writing this blog, sharing my experiences from my Quilting Life, and being inspired by other quilting bloggers and members of the quilting community. I never dreamed that this blog would lead me to such a creatively fulfilling career that I am still able to call my hobby as well. Thank you to all who read, and who comment or email with the kindest sentiments. I truly appreciate all of you. Being able to move into working with my family in this field was also made possible by just starting my blog, and I’m grateful for that as well.
Five Things I’m Loving Right Now
And here are five things I’m loving right now–
- This is a pricey hair dryer–but I bought it for myself as an early birthday gift and love it so much! I’m not that great at styling my hair, and this has been a game-changer for me!
- A small thing–but I love these pens! And this basket is so beautiful–I have it in my office as a catch-all!
- Favorite Blush ever! I actually love their lipsticks and foundations, too!
- Our upcoming fabric collection that I’m currently working with–sorry to be a tease with this one, but it’s so beautiful. We’ll be sharing in late September.
- This chicken salad recipe is on repeat this summer! It’s definitely my favorite of all I’ve ever made.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read the A Quilting Life June 2025 Favorites post. If you’re looking for more of my favorite’s posts inspiration, you can find my previous posts in this series here.
Happy Quilting!
