Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 424: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a variety of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope some of these ideas will help jump-start your weekend and the week ahead!
Here in the studio, I’ve finished up two quilts in the past week and have also done quite a bit of organizing. If I get enough cleaning done this weekend, we should be able to film a little studio tour next week. I’m also hoping to get to some works in progress very, very soon!

Saturday Seven 424: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This author swears that this one simple thing will help you feel more relaxed at home. And I loved this article with Ten Things to Do This Year to Make Yourself, Your Home, and Your Family Happier.
2. Recipes to Try
Perfect for the new year–here are 15+Favorite Light and Fresh 30-Minute Meals to try. These 15 Minute Coconut Protein Bites are on my list to try. And finally…I think I’m going to try these Air Fryer Hamburgers (never would have thought of that, lol)!

3. Quilt + Sew
The Celebrating 250 Years of America Quilt and Stitch along begins next month. Get all of the details from this free PDF here. (Note: you will need this Celebrate with Quilts book to sew along–it’s a fantastic book by my good friends Lissa Alexander and Susan Ache). And if you have fear of zippers–my friend Lissa’s recent post will have you rethinking them! Finally…if you missed my 2025 Block of the Month, the full pattern is now available as a PDF download in my shop here.
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
This new podcast episode from The Productive Woman will help you ease into 2026–tons of great ideas along with a printable worksheet from her show notes page, too! Also, I loved the recent Best of Both Worlds Goals Extravaganza episode.
5. Fun Finds
Here are a few fun things I’m loving right now! This mascara has become my new favorite. It works great, it doesn’t flake or smear, and it’s super easy to remove with water. This ornament storage box is wonderful too. I’ve been trying to consolidate and clean out each year when I put away my decorations. I might even get a second one of these. Finally, these jumbo white plastic bins are the best! I’ve got two and love them in the sewing room!

6. New Birch & Willow Quilt from Chelsi
Chelsi just got her new Whimsy Night quilt in Birch & Willow fabrics finished up (I had so much fun doing the binding on this one for her). This might be my favorite of her new patterns! Watch her video for all of the details on this quilt above or on our YouTube channel.
