Made this Month
I was able to get some fun things sewn this month–even with having two eye surgeries! I made a project for a magazine that will be published late summer/early fall, a new Delightfully Yours table runner, lots of hexagon flowers in Delightfully Yours for a wall hanging and the mini charm pillow pictured below. And I also made a fun mini quilt that I’ll be teaching at my retreats in May and finished up the larger quilt for those retreats. And I got several months ahead for my 2025 A Quilting Life Block of the Month blocks. It was a good month of sewing for sure.
5 Things I’m Loving Right Now
- Mountains–we were able to visit with friends for a few days last week at their cabin, and it was delightful. It was a little windy for fishing and walks, but I had my sewing machine and got to sew for two days straight!
- Read: The Five Types of Wealth. I really enjoyed this book, and it had so many ideas and practical helps–this book addresses time, physical, social, mental and financial wealth. Definitely five stars for this–thought-provoking and a fun read, too!
- Summer Friday’s Lip Butter (I have several of these in different flavors and love them all)
- Favorite new healthy snack: these apple chips. I was introduced to them by a friend and just had four bags delivered yesterday!
- Read: Tiny Experiments: How to Live Freely in a Goal-Obsessed World. I loved this book with tons of practical helps. Again, this was a pretty-quick read with lots of resources I can use over and over.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read the A Quilting Life April Favorites and Roundup 2025 post. If you’re looking for more of my favorite’s posts inspiration, you can find my previous posts in this series here.
