Quilt Market Houston 2017 Part 2

Hello and welcome to my second post featuring the Moda designer booths from the 2017 International Quilt Market in Houston, Texas. There are quite a few photos today, so be ready to be inspired!

I'm beginning today's post with the Kansas Troubles booth.  Lynne and Robert

had a larger booth with lots of space to display their upcoming collection Fresh Cut Flowers along with beautiful quilts, books, and patterns.

Joanna Figueroa's booth is always a favorite of mine (hint, hint...I sewed two of these quilts...more soon)!  Fig Tree & Company debuted the upcoming Ella and Ollie collection which has the traditional mix of Fig Tree florals backgrounds, and basics!

Janet Clare's booth presents her upcoming collection Freya and Friends...lots of goodies here with delightful fabrics and panels!

Lydia Nelson debuted her Mighty Machines collection.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the cute vintage trucks she brought along in my photo, though.  This is a really fun collection for little boys!

April Rosenthal shared her beautiful Mama's Cottage group...so bright and pretty!

Robin Pickens debuted her Dear Mum collection which is also a very bright and fun collection of large florals and smaller prints. Robin's booth was right around the corner from ours, so we got to visit quite a bit!

Kaari Meng of French General presented Jardin De Versailles--a dreamy soft vintage group!

Okay...so I have to confess that the Sweetwater collection Harmony is one of my favorites this time around.  These blues!!! I can hardly wait to sew with these fabrics!

Purebred II by Erin Michael is a return to her very popular Purebred collection.  I love that her signature paintbox dots are included again as well (I can never get enough of them for backings)!

I love this fun picture of Chelsi and Corey along with the fun cactus booth props in Erin's booth...such a fun picture!

Gingiber debuts Catnip in black and white and cream.  A lot of the prints make great low-volumes and blenders.

Nest is the latest collection by Lella Boutique.  She has a variety of fun patterns as well as beautiful muted florals and prints.

Stacy Iest Hsu debuted her new Home Sweet Home collection.  This one is a lot of fun and comes with a fun panel as well.

And here is Jan Patek's Lilac Ridge. If you are a purple/lilac lover then this collection is for you!

Me and My Sister debuted their fun Confetti collection.

The delightful Betsy Chutchian and her Evelyn's Homestead collection.  I love that I was able to get her in the booth as well.  I really need to try to get the designers along with their collections next time.  Sometimes the only time I have to take pictures is early in the day before the show is open, though.

This is the end of my Moda photos...I missed pictures of four booths somehow.  Three were close by, too!  Sometimes the designer is busy talking to a customer and it's hard to remember to get back.
I missed photos of the following: Debbie Maddy introduced her Yuki collection featuring the look of hand-dyed indigo;  Primitive Gatherings introduced Homespun Gatherings Wovens (on my list to buy for quilts for my sons); Sandy Gervais presented Well Said--a bright and happy collection;  and new Moda designer Christopher Wilson-Tate introduced Regency Blues (more blue!).
There were also a few designers with new collections that weren't at market...so there are lots of good fabrics to choose from over the coming months!

I'll post once more with the rest of the market inspiration I found (and if you missed my first market recap post you can find it here)!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
