Put a Quilt On It

Hello! Today I'm posting about a fabulous new-to-me product...home decor Barn Blocks!  These fabulous 2x2 barn quilts are printed on PVC making them a fun decor item for quilters that can be displayed indoors or outdoors.  The PVC material is lightweight yet sturdy (10 mm thick!) and waterproof.   This makes the blocks perfect for garages, fences, porches, and sheds without the fear of rain or snow ruining the block as it may with wood.

I was able to select one for review and absolutely love it!  It arrived in terrific

packaging with protective corners and wrapping.  My biggest challenge now will be deciding where to hang it!  Because it would look great outside on my back patio...

but would also be beautiful indoors in my sewing room.  It's big enough to make a statement, but not so big that it's overwhelming.

Of course my next question after figuring out where I'm going to display it is "How do I hang this?".  I asked Kristi, and she replied, "For indoor use, I use 2 large Command strips because I like the flexibility and ease.  I have also simply leaned it against the wall on a buffet table or used a ledge shelf on the wall.  For outdoor use, depending on the surface, you may want to do something more permanent.  We have used industrial strength Velcro on the back of the block and on a piece of wood mounted to the side of our well house.  It's fully exposed to the sun and rain and has held up wonderfully for nearly a year.  The most permanent method is to drill holes in the corners, so you can attach the block using screws."

Additionally...not only are there whimsical and classic block designs, but there are also some really fun holiday designs as well!  Stop by Put a Quilt on It today to see all of these fabulous barn blocks!

Note: while I was provided my barn quilt at no charge, all opinions are my own.  I love this product and that's why I'm sharing it with you!

Have a great rest of the weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Fun thing for a quilter! I would keep it indoors to much fear that it would get damaged outside or stolen (it's just too pretty;-)

So cool! I would have to look at it all the time, so indoors would work for me!
