Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello and happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating this celebration of the harvest and ode to gratitude! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because for me it really is just about family and friends and remembering to be grateful for our many blessings.

I can't remember being any more excited for the holidays than I am this

year...perhaps with everything that has happened in our world as of late we are all in need of some true cheer and thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving will be small this year as our daughters will both be celebrating with their in-laws, but we will be able to have everyone together at Christmas next month. And small is good, too--although we will have plenty of food if we happen to have any extra friends or family able to come!

I'm especially grateful for the kindness and support of those of you who read this blog and send such kind words and comments my way.  I spend many hours each week planning, taking photos, and writing posts in an effort to present great content and inspiration for my readers...just as so many others have inspired me over the years.  The goal for my blog has always been to record my projects and to give back to this wonderful community of quilters.  I'm truly thankful for your friendship!

Happy Thanksgiving...and of course I hope you find a little time to quilt this weekend, too!

Happy Thanksgiving, Sherri! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I appreciate all you do for your blog. You have greatly inspired me and I have learned so much from reading your blog. I also love your fabric collections (Creekside is my favorite). I don't always comment on blogs, but wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading about all your projects.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I enjoy reading your blog so much. Thank you so much for not giving up on blogs, so many of the designers have done that and only post on Instagram which I love to look at too. But, just give me a cup of coffee or hot tea, and let me sit down and enjoy "reading" the blogs I visit. And the photos you share of all your quilts. Such inspiration.
Have a blessed long holiday weekend!

Thanks for the time and talent that you put in all you share-patterns, tutorials (and fat quarter shop, too) and ideas. I have so enjoyed seeing and reading everything over the past few years since I've subscribed. I don't subscribe to a lot of blogs but only a few that I feel I learn a lot from and that are of valuable giving inspiration and ideas. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. :)
