Mini Quilt Parade | August 2017

Hello and happy August!  It's going to be a hot one here today...but we have chances of rain all week, so we're hopeful it will cool off a little...soon!  Today is Minis and More day, and I have some really cute quilts to share...and a really fun project for this month which will have you ready for fall!

Last month we chose a mini Tulip pattern by Corey Yoder. While we just have a

few quilts to share this month (we know July is crazy busy for everyone), they are good ones!  Hildy's version is so much fun...I love the background, and the flowers are gorgeous in their scrappy goodness!  Thank you Hildy!

Brenda made this fun version (love the darker background).  She included the cute little teapot which was the inspiration for her mini quilt fabric choices.  So much fun!  Thank you Brenda!  You can see more mini Tulip inspiration by heading over to Michele's blog today...Island Life Quilts (you will love the versions she is sharing)!

We know you are going to want to sew along with us this month...how about a darling mini pumpkin quilt to get you ready for fall?! I've wanted to make this quilt since I saw it at quilt market in May...and I'm determined to get mine pieced and quilted this month!

The pattern is by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew, and you can find it here (it's available in paper and PDF, and there is a large quilt version available too).

Maybe sewing pumpkins will bring in some cool breezes where I live...just hoping!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
